"Your nervous system is the greatest pharmacist of all. It makes drugs better than any drug in a drug store by creating your own pharmacy of anti inflammatories."
~ Dr. Joe Dispenza
What does he mean by that?
Your nervous system is the bridge between your body and your brain.
It controls: body temperature, breathing, heartbeat, thoughts, emotions, learning and memory to name a few.
You have the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system.
Your sympathetic nervous system is your fight or flight. Useful of course, when necessary, in small amounts. You don’t want to live here. However, a lot of us do. We do this when we work long hours. We do this when we add in family obligations and household chores. We do this when we aren't living our purpose and when we don't have the tools or strategies to flow through life.
Your parasympathetic nervous system is your rest and digest mode. You feel safe and relaxed here.

So let’s take care of this bridge!
Enter into rest and digest mode by engaging in:
> Yoga
> Meditation
> Breath-work
> Connecting to Nature
> Coaching
> Affirmations
> Sleep
Aim to be fully present in the moment during these activities knowing you are divinely guided and protected at all times. Aim to stay in this mode longer and longer. Aim to take time out of your day to slow down and take care of your mental, emotional and spiritual needs.
In this mode, as Joe states, your body can begin its innate healing capabilities.
Enjoy the peace and serenity of this state to fully connect with your higher Self so that you may rediscover your dharma to live with purpose and ease.
Enjoy the journey of life.
In gratitude,
