With Curiosity and Power, You Shine.

What would you do if you knew how powerful you truly were? Challenge what you think you know, and believe what resonates with you.

Most days we go through the motions, the to-do list, the expectations on the perception of life. With all the shoulds, the obligations and the beliefs of the way things are supposed to be, you are limited. But, if you stopped and looked around, up and down with intention, you could start to see the absolute wonder around you. What would it take to feel, to be, unlimited?
Power doesn’t have to come from the ego or perception of self, it can come from Source, Breath, God, Spirit, or Self. And, it’s everywhere.
This really isn’t some religious doctrine, call to action, or a manual on how to suddenly change your life and live life perfectly. Rather, this is simply an effort to plant the seed of curiosity, to ask questions, to hypothesize, to experiment and gather evidence to live the life you want.
We don’t really know anything (even using the scientific method!), we hypothesize what is most ‘true’ for us at the moment. In which case, what if life wasn’t really about suffering or learning life’s hard lessons? Most of us are taught that we are here to learn, Earth is hard, is it Hell, then we go back home to Nirvana or Heaven. What if as a dimension, Earth was also Heaven? What if the Kingdom of God was within you and you could live on Earth as it is in Heaven? “HeavenEarth.”
There is so much research, scientists, and spiritual leaders all speaking to the concepts of the power of belief, the power of the placebo, and the power of energy. However, this isn’t about proving to you that any of this is true. Just like there isn’t only one path, one system or one way of doing something ‘the best,' or 'the right way.’
For me, perspective is everything and going inward to seek joy and peace leaves less to be controlled. I am controlled if my happiness is outside of me. I am controlled when I push away my anger. I am controlled when I believe someone else is the cause of my suffering.

As Thomas Campbell (physicist and author) has said, we live in a sort of virtual reality, in a state of materialism that brings with it power, control and force. We grab out of fear of scarcity. It doesn’t feel good and it’s not sustainable. That isn’t what we came here to do.
We need to change. We need to get curious.
It doesn’t mean in this dense atmosphere that you won’t suffer. Rather, your perception of suffering can change so there is more acceptance, perhaps understanding, maybe deep insight and possibly, appreciation.
How can you feel more love for yourself? How can we all end up better off? How can you help? That shift to love will change your life, and the world. Consciousness is unlimited and boundless.
Julie Mossbridge (neuroscientist) demonstrated that loving kindness messages led to neurochemical changes improving immune system function, even in those with adverse childhood experiences (ACE). Try ‘time travelling’ back to your childhood and speak to your young self with messages of love and kindness - sort of like Internal Family Systems Therapy.
This level of sustained heart coherence can help regulate your nervous system that fluctuates daily between three different divisions, two most commonly known as rest and digest and fight or flight. Without diving too deeply into theories and functions, simply becoming more aware of how your body is responding and how to cultivate more curiosity comes from the feelings of safety in the rest and digest mode.
What if by loving yourself, you felt powerful? Authentic. What would you do if you knew how capable you truly were?

Born out of a philosophical context and made more accessible by Irvin Yalom, Existential Therapy has its foundations in deep questions about our existence to alleviate anxiety and suffering about the timeless issues such as death, free will, isolation and meaning. These four existential concerns exist in our unconscious, of which we may deliberately overlook but can cause significant psychopathology (mental dis-ease). By making choices with self-determination and honesty, you can live a more authentic and purpose driven life.
As I mentioned there are many paths in life and many paths towards reaching what you need or desire. If these concepts are overwhelming, take one step at a time.
Do things that bring you joy - hobbies?
Do things that bring you peace - alone time?
Make it a new habit with a schedule if that helps: SMART goals are effective!
Journal about some of these questions in this article.

Choose LOVE as in the Four Agreements:
May your word be impeccable.
Don’t make assumptions about others.
Don’t take anything personally (outer reactions from others are really the result of one’s inner workings).
You are doing your best in every moment with what you know and understand.
It’s time to get curious, and choose YOU.
Take care of yourself. Yours in love and power,
